IN-PERSON INTERNSHIPS
Interested in working with us in person? We are seeking passionate, adventurous, and collaborative individuals to join our team during Festival Somos Mar this June and October.
We offer a high-quality internship experience that is designed for people who are excited to be involved with our organization and will work to carry out the C2C mission. We are a close-knit team of highly qualified individuals spanning various professions and are searching for well-rounded, eager, adaptable interns interested in learning about and experiencing Peru. We would appreciate applicants who have experience in the roles listed below. However, we work to create a learning environment. Thus, positions are not strictly limited to experienced individuals.
This incredible two-week experience will include a wide array of activities and opportunities for personal and professional learning, growth, and connection building. This educational internship experience focuses on fostering a deeper understanding and curiosity in participants related to sustainability, co-creation, education, environmental activism, art, audio-visual work, and an appreciation of natural spaces. Through our holistic approach, this program will cater to the specific interests and goals of our interns, certain activities will be decided on through a collaborative process with Coast 2 Coast and participants.
Interns will experience Festival Somos Mar by observing and participating in interactive workshops and educational lessons related to sustainability in small-scale fishing communities. Participants will learn about the history and practices of artisanal fisheries in Perú through a fishing trip led by a local fisherman. Additionally, there will be opportunities to surf, scuba dive, try local Peruvian cuisine, visit various beaches and small reefs, explore nearby towns, and overall further experience life on the vibrant Northern coast of Perú!

program fees
This two-week program in Los Órganos with C2C will cost 1,200 USD. Fees are payable to Paypal. Fees must be paid, at the latest, by June 5th. Please contact us with any questions about program fees and payment.

* Before embarking on this adventure, we kindly remind you that it is your responsibility to take care of your own health and travel insurance. It is important that you ensure you have adequate coverage that includes medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and repatriation in the event of an unforeseen circumstance.
