This is a participatory documentary produced in Lobitos, Peru in March 2013.

 

It was shot during the second edition of the Participatory Digital Arts Workshops in conjunction with Nicolás Landa, Adriana Ugarte Stiglich, DocuPeru and Waves for Development.

 

The idea behind the program is to present audiovisual skills as a tool for expression and empowerment and therefore give the community a chance to tell their own story. 

 

This time we worked with a group of local women who show us Lobitos from their own perspective. It's a tribute to all the women who work hard for themselves, their families and their communities!
