Romi is an ambitious teenager from Buho Buho, an isolated fishing village on Morotai Island in Indonesia. Having never used a camera before, Romi dove into photography as a tool to explore his surroundings more deeply - his village, coastline, ocean - and inevitably, himself. Romi worked with us to produce his own short film highlighting his journey behind the lens.
