This is one of Coast 2 Coast's first co-productions from 2014. We received skateboards as donations from Sector 9, and we decided to make the reveal as a story. Our local partner, the Lobitos Cinema Project, presents "The Skate," a short stop-motion made by three brothers from Lobitos, a small-scale fishing village in Northern Peru. The trio imagined, produced, and directed the video themselves. The video documents the arrival, assembly, and adventure of a new skateboard.
