Our workshops are free of charge for residents of local coastal communities. We rely on individual donations, crowdfunding campaigns, and grants to facilitate our workshops and cover the costs of second-hand digital cameras, art supplies, and travel.

  • Is my donation tax-deductible?
    It can be! Coast 2 Coast is a Peruvian nonprofit and therefore, donations made outside Peru are not tax-deductible. However, if you would like to make a donation and receive a tax-deduction, you may make your donations through Beyond the Surface International (BTSI), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization based in California. When you make your donation, please note that the donation is for Coast 2 Coast and BTSI will direct your donations accordingly within the guidelines of U.S. law. Remember to keep your E-Mail donation receipt as your official record to claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes.
  • Will I get a receipt for my donation?
    Yes! Along with a note of thanks! When you donate, Paypal will ask for your email address. Please provide this information so that upon receiving the donation, we can email you a receipt. Make sure you keep the receipt for your official records to file for a tax-deduction.
  • How do I donate a second-hand camera?
    It's easy. Please send us an email that you are interested in donating a used camera to our workshops and we will send you the necessary shipping information. You will also receive a receipt for the value of the camera.
